Laurel Mae DeWitt is the designer and creator of the LaureLuxe brand. A native New Yorker, DeWitt has a youthful creativity and craftiness that can only be described as fantastically bold. Her drive is to continuously evolve and push all boundaries. To her, metal knows no limits.
A graduate of Pratt Art Institute in fashion design with an emphasis on jewelry and accessories, it reflects in each of her creations which strike a harmonious balance between the two. There, she received awards and recognition for her work. In her career, she has served as a Handbag & Accessories Designer for CR by Cynthia Rowley, Rocawear, Guess, Michael Kors, Calvin Klein, Nine West, Anne Klein, FILA, & Oscar De La Renta Intimate Apparel. Her fashion bags can be seen in major retailers such as Nordstroms, Target, and Forever 21.
You can find her designs being worn by a diverse array of celebrities and personalities. LaureLuxe has been worn by actress Mila Jovovich, supermodel Sessili Lopez, Grammy Award winner singer- songwriter Cyndi Lauper to rapping sensation Nicki Minaj, singer Amerie, and pop artist Lady Gaga.
